In 1978, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra honored Rick Wakeman and his music by releasing an album with a collection of his best known works. In 2001, the Banda Sinfônica Jovem do Estado de São Paulo, under the leadership af Maestrina Monica Giardini, honored Rick again by releasing their live perfomance of his well known work, "The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table" in their homeland, Brazil. It is the only known recorded performance of this album in it's entirety! This album also has the bonus track, "Pirates", an ELP classic! Now in 2003, Voiceprint is able to release this fantastic performance in the UK.

Playing his music with the full splendor of an orchestra (augmented with a rock band, keyboards, piano, vocalists and choir) provides a proper perspective to his music and writing. This truly symphonic rock album is a testament to the genius that is Rick Wakeman, and a must for both Rick and Yes fans alike!!!!
