Slow Dance
Disc 1
1. Slow Dance (part 1) 2. Slow Dance (part 2)
1989's Slow Dance is an ambitious two part orchestral rock suite which is Phillips' at his best - a must.
Reviews

This cd is perhaps one of the most striking and beautiful of Phillip's album's I've heard. It was originally completed around 1989, and whilst it does remind one of Oldfield and orchestral Vangelis, it is very much a work all of it's own and the reference to Oldfield and Vangelis are simply that, reference points. Unlike the above two other musos, Phillips has enlisted the help of seven other musicians as well as strings by the Speachi Quartet. Phillips plays stuff ranging from the Roland 808 to the ol' Strat. Slow Dance parts one and two - do yourself a favour and discover a truly superb and refreshing album.
