Anthony Phillips, the original guitarist from GENESIS releases this long sought-after recording of himself performing songs from his first two solo albums during a visit to Glasgow's independent local station Radio Clyde.

This is a live 'in-the-studio' session recorded and broadcast in 1978 as part of the promotion for Anthony's second solo album "Wise After The Event", alongside songs from both the new album and "The Geese & The Ghost". He also performed instrumental pieces from the then, forthcoming first volume in the Private Parts & Pieces series.

These were complimented by some tracks destined not to make their official debut on Anthony's albums until some years after this performance hit the airwaves, including "Master of Time", "Silver Song" and "Conversation Piece". The session was brought to a close with "Postlude: End of the Season", which is introduced by Anthony under it's original title of "Last One To Leave".

When the session was broadcast Radio Clyde made an adjustment to the speed of the original recording, which raised the pitch of Anthony's performance by just over a semitone. For this release the effect of the pitch change has been corrected so that the performance now sounds as it would have done when originally recorded.

Nevertheless, here is Ant "live" in the radio studio in 1978 performing an interesting selection of material complete with some not entirely serious introductions.
