Swiss born Patrick Moraz is probably best known in rock music circles as the man who played with two of the world’s biggest rock bands firstly with Yes recording the album Relayer and touring extensively with the band between 1974 and 1976. Following this stint with Yes Patrick would go on to join another legendary band the Moody Blues. Patrick stayed with the band between the years 1978 and 1991 touring the world extensively and contributing to a number of successful albums.

Patrick has also been a member of the progressive rock band Mainhorse forming the band with bassist Jean Ristori in 1969 and releasing one self titled album in 1970. Following that his next port of call would be Refugee where he joined forces with two former members of the Nice. This band also released one critically acclaimed self titled album before Patrick left to join Yes.

Patrick Moraz began his solo career in earnest in 1976 with the release of The Story of I. Since then he has released a number of albums covering a number of different musical styles. In 2006 Patrick embarked on re vamp of his back catalogue re mastering and reissuing the entire back catalogue over a period of two years,

CHANGE OF SPACE is a collection of songs and instrumental pieces of "never-released-material" which Patrick Moraz worked on, composing, recording, mixing and “polishing” over a period spanning a time-frame between 1989 and 2003.
These pieces reflect very much some of the music he composed and developed over the years and recorded on his own as well as with other remarkable musicians and engineers. Patrick then spent the last 2 years putting it together and mastering it with sound-engineer Jean Ristori at MTX Mastering Studios/Switzerland for this special release.Other great musicians to feature on this album include:
Alex Ligertwood (Ex-Santana) (lead vocals)
Don Adey ( Ex- The JAMME)(lead vocals)
Bunny Brunel (Ex-Chick Corea's band) (el. Bass)
Kazumi Watanabe (Japanese guitarist extraordinaire!) (El. guitars)
John Wackerman (African Choir, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Lindsay Buckingham, Frank Gambale, etc....) (drums)
Alex Acuna (Ex-Weather Report/Joe Zawinul's band) (Perc.)
Ronnie Ciago (Brian Auger, Jaco Pastorius, Patrick Moraz, Rainbow, Frank Stallone etc...) (drums)
Michael Tovar (rthm. guitar)
With backing vocals by : Janis Liebhart (Michael Bolton, Ex-The Moody Blues) (Nicol Mecerova (Ex-Bunny Brunel's group, Herbie Hancock) Wendy McKenzie (Ex-The Moody Blues), Naomi Star (Chad Wackerman, Alan Holdsworth),  Jill Meschke (Ex-Patrick Moraz's "StarPeace")
Reviews
"[Patrick Moraz] has returned to his progressive roots and as such this album is more than welcome.  Opening with Peace in Africa, the album is Patrick Moraz at his best, and giving full rein to his "progressive-ness"....A dreamy, relaxing album that will please his many fans."
