These recordings were made totally live in the studio with no overdubs, specifically for radio use to promote the Peacock Party album, which had just been released. The band line-up was Gordon on guitar, Bimbo Acock (Mike Oldfield, Steve Hackett) on flute, sax and keyboards, Rod Edwards also played keyboards and co-produced and Clive Bunker (Jethro Tull, Robin Trower, Steve Hillage) on drums.

Unusually for so well a respected acoustic guitarist, Gordon played electric guitar exclusively on this recording and his personal favourites from the session are The Dodo's Dream and Headwind.

Gordon Giltrap represents a unique British musical talent having evolved a guitar style, which is as individual as his music is recognizable. His first album was released in 1968, since when he has gone on to release a number of critically and commercially successful albums such as Fear Of The Dark and Visionary.
