Amongst his noted solo albums Jon has released the albums Olias of Sunhillow, Song of Seven and more recently collaborated on the album In Elven Lands which was a musical adaptation of the Lord of the Rings. The Promise Ring was originally released in 1997 and has a Celtic feel where Jon Anderson delves into his own heritage for a thrilling celebration of traditional Irish and Celtic melodies singing his own lyrics to the joyous, percussive sounds of multiple fiddles, pennywhistles, and mandolins. The Promise Ring is highly regarded by the massive Jon Anderson fan base and the reissue of this out of print album will be widely anticipated. Jon Anderson’s profile has never been higher with successful solo tour dates in Europe and America along with the much anticipated Yes 40th Anniversary celebrations later in 2008. | |
