Percy Howard is a singer and a song writer who over the years has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the music world. The project named Meridiem was formed in 1997 when Percy invited Bill Laswell to work with him along with drummer Charles Hayward who had previously been a member of This Heat. Bill Laswell of course has worked with many artists including, Daevid Allen and New York Gong, Herbie Hancock and perhaps most famously Brian Eno and David Byrne on their album My Life In The Bush of Ghosts.

The album Full Catastrophe was originally released in 2000 and features the talents of founder Percy Howard alongside such stellar musicians as Living Color’s Vernon Reid and King Crimson’s Trey Gunn. Following in the steps of previous Meridiem releases Full Catastrophe manages to blend full on musicianship with structured cacophony. Unavailable for some time this release will be a welcome re issue.
