Those Beasts Bleed The Sex Gang Children have been one of the leading lights of the Goth movement for over twenty five years. Led by the enigmatic Andi Sexgang the band released a number of critically acclaimed and commercially successful albums in their time together and whilst the band broke up initially in the mid eighties they have resurfaced on occasion with new material and been involved in the re packaging of old material As a solo artist Andi Sexgang Has also been highly prolific away from the band releasing his first solo album shortly after the Sex Gang Children split. His latest album release is entitled The Madman in the Basket, which will be a mix of songs and spoken word pieces. Also to be included on this will be the track ‘Kriminaltango’ a well known “Schlagersong” which is a collaboration with Lucas Lanthier of the bands Cinema Strange and Dead Fly Ensemble. There are a total of sixteen tracks on the album although the final four tracks are titled The Obituary Show and feature four spoken word tracks Cruel and Beautiful, Orphian Strain Murder Inc. and Those Beasts Bleed. There is a large and devoted following for the Sex Gang Children and Andi Sexgang and Andi also has a strong presence on the internet making this album a much anticipated release. This is also Andi’s first solo album in more than five years making this recording all the more anticipated. | |
