One of the key movers on the San Francisco Bay music scene Tiedye Keith has released a number of hugely popular and critically successful albums on his own label TDK.

World Music Jam is a one of a kind album from Keith in that the album was recorded almost spontaneously in one take with no preparation. The long Jam track Jam or Jelly spread across nine tracks moves through a great many styles in its thirty plus minutes and captures the passion of the session. The album also includes performances from keyboardist Vince Welnick formerly of the Tubes and the Grateful Dead recorded in the year before Vince's untimely death.
