Winner of “Best Solo Female” artist at the Heineken/Hot Press Music Awards  Leslie Dowdall is rightfully considered one of the best female singer-songwriters from Ireland today. Leslie emerged in the eighties as the voice of In Tua Nua. Winning international critical acclaim as the band that fused Celtic traditions with rock. However as a solo artist Leslie has surpassed that with the success of her debut album “No guilt No Guile” featuring the smash hit “Beautiful Thing” This follow up album 'Out There' not only confirms Leslie's ability as one of Ireland’s best female singers but also confirms her talent as a songwriter. All the tracks on this album are original, the exception being the Jimi Hendrix song 'Angel' which receives tremendous attention from the songstress. Co-writing credits on the album go to such notables as Brendan Murphy from the Four of Us and Pat O'Donnell, former Fountainhead member, who also produces the album. This is a beautiful album from one of Ireland’s most talented voices and Leslie is also a pleasure to catch live and is looking forward to her next international tour.
