Probably one of the most interesting musical collaborations has to be this album featuring the work of British Space Rock legends Hawkwind and the Masters of the ambient mix universe Astralasia.

Hawkwind have been in existence for more than thirty-five years and yet are still showing the way with their cutting edge attitude.

Astralasia of course originally sprang from another British psychedelic space rock band The Magic Mushroom Band so who better to be let loose on some of Hawkwind's finest moments.

Whilst some of these remixes have been available before this is the first time that all the work has been collected together on one CD and the album also includes a previously unreleased versions of Uncle Sam's On Mars and an early version of Spirit Of The Age.

This CD will no doubt appeal to the more adventurous of Hawkwind's long lasting and widespread fan base but also fans of Astralasia's ambient dub treatments of Hawkwind's material. All the material contained on this album has also been re mastered for this release.
