Anthony Phillips is perhaps best known as the original guitarist in Genesis. Ant left the band in 1970 following the release of Trespass. He began his solo career in earnest in the mid seventies with the release of the album The Geese and The Ghost. Since then he has released a number of critically acclaimed albums and forged a loyal and devoted fan base.

In 2008 Anthony Phillips reissued his first two albums in re mastered format.

The latest album from Anthony Phillips back catalogue to receive the re mastered treatment is Sides.

Sides was originally released in 1979 and features performances from other progressive rock legends such as Mike Giles and John G Perry alongside Ant. The album is possibly the most rock oriented album to come from Anthony Phillips and includes the tracks Nightmare and Um and Aargh.

The album has been unavailable for some time and this reissue will follow on from the reissue of The Geese and the Ghost and Wise After The Event and appeal to the large and dedicated fan base one would expect from a former member of Genesis.
