Toyah has a highly successful, prolific and incredibly diverse career, with major hit records and many prestigious stage and screen roles to her credit, which has made her one of Britain's biggest household names.

Ophelia's Shadow is an album that contains numerous co-writes with Toyah's husband Robert Fripp, as well as collaborations with erstwhile King Crimson bassist Trey Gunn, and the critically acclaimed Tony Geballe.

It is fitting then that this album was one of a pair returned to Toyah as part of the settlement between Robert Fripp and Virgin after a lengthy legal battle between Robert and his former label and management company - the label and Management company shared by Toyah. Distinctively Toyah, she delivers an album that is challenging and yet enticing. Originally released 1991 on EG Records, this recording hasn't been available for some time. Its reissue has been long awaited by Toyah fans and King Crimson completists alike.
