In 1977 whilst on a break from the Sensational Alex Harvey band Alex Harvey embarked on a project that had long held a fascination for him. An album dedicated to the Loch Ness monster.

The Legendary Alex Harvey Presents: The Loch Ness Monster album recorded and produced by Alex Harvey is to get a release on CD. The album which was recorded while Alex took a break from The Sensation Alex Harvey Band is a spoken word album and received a limited release on the K-Tel label.

The album which was recorded while the rest of SAHB recorded the album SAHB Without Alex in 1977 has never previously been released on CD making this release the debut on CD. The vinyl edition is extremely hard to find these days and it is hoped that this release will appeal to both collectors of Alex Harvey's releases and also people interested in the Loch Ness Monster phenomenon.
